GFS DOOR TERMINAL
The GfS Door Terminal is a sophisticated and effective device to secure emergency exits. The GfS Door Terminal integrates an emergency exit switch, flashing light, buzzer and key switch. The housing is made of solid stainless steel. This compact unit is ideal for retrofits, since it contains all functions required to secure and monitor doors in a single, robust casing.
The GfS Door Terminal ensures safe escape routes. Thanks to a certified fail safe switch and its quiescent current operation people are able to rapidly leave the building at any time. A connected fire alarm system may deactivate the GfS Door Terminal automatically.
Authorized staff may use the emergency exit without causing an alarm. A central management control system may monitor and operate all emergency exits secured by a GfS Door Terminal.
The GfS Door Terminal is available with or without an integrated power supply.
ALARM SECURED
The emergency exit door is electrically locked. The emergency button for unlocking is alarm-protected. This is indicated by red shining LEDs around the button.
MAIN ALARM
In an emergency situation, the red emergency button is pressed. The LEDs are flashing green and the electrical door locking system is de-energized. The emergency exit door is open and can be used now. At the same time an optical and an acoustic alarm (95dB/1m) is triggered. This can be reset with the device key only.
SINGLE RELEASE
The door can be single released by using the integrated key switch. The LEDs light up green. After closing the door, the emergency exit is alarm-secured again.
PERMANENT RELEASE
The door can be permanently unlocked via the integrated key switch. The LEDs light up green with increasing and decreasing intensity. This state is only ended when it is acknowledged by using the key switch again.
