Part-No. 700 73x

The GfS e-Bar® is operated like a mechanical touch-bar acc. to EN 1125 with either mains supply (10–30 V/DC) or with a 9 V battery for the retrofit market. It offers a full set of functionalities to secure emergency exits incl. a RS 485 interface. The main advantage is the display which communicates the status of the door. It is a robust and elegant solution which does not require annual inspections by trained electricians.

Part-No. 700 74x

The GfS e-Bar® with integrated alarm and emergency exit switch is employed when the emergency exit is locked electrically with e.g. a holding magnet. The emergency exit switch with two opening contacts is able to switch up to 3 A which is more than sufficient for this kind of application. For a safe operation and more functionalities a control unit is required which has an integrated power supply unit (24 V/DC). Also this GfS e-Bar® offers the same functionality set as the version without emergency exit switch.
